An initiative that is totally aligned with Graton Lyonnais&rsquo; commitment to the environment and the circular economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The interest of methanization for treating waste is twofold for Le Graton Lyonnais:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Environmental:<\/strong> firstly, the production of green gas reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and the production of natural compost for use on local agricultural land avoids the use of chemical fertilisers and improves the soil. It also reduces their carbon footprint thanks to the optimisation of their logistics, greatly reducing the transport distance of waste products, as Le Graton Lyonnais is less than 5 kilometres from the M\u00e9thavar\u00e8ze &amp; Is\u00e8re BioD\u00e9chets facilities.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Economic:<\/strong> it supports a circular economy by integrating the transformation of waste as the final stage in a virtuous 100% local model.
